This was part of a trove of old pharmaceutical bottles I found in 2005 at a rural marché aux puces in the Isère department in southeastern France. The label indicates that it is from the Coopération Pharmaceutique Française and while the date of the bottle is unknown others from the collection are thought to date from the 1870s. Eucalyptus syrup brings relief to respiratory ailments and is also used in cocktails.
