Just back from a couple months in Italy and I’ve posted the new gallery of photographs, which you can see here. Save for an assignment on the Abruzzo coast and a short trip to Rome, I was mostly in the north documenting the daily rhythms of Reggio-Emilia. I am not generally one for small towns but Italians do small town life better than anyone on earth and the region of Emilia — with its rich, heavy food and open, frank manner — is a singular pleasure.
