1956: Gaza fighting, space cadet elevators, and Grace Kelly

This newsreel (from archive.org) offers a quick survey of what was making news in the spring of 1956: there was fighting in Gaza between Arabs and Israelis but, really, why dwell on that when there is a new bowling pin technology to boast of, the wonders of a space cadet operator of an outdoor glass elevator, a young Grace Kelly being shipped off to Monaco for her upcoming wedding to Prince Ranier, and a hapless female matador in Colombia who is repeatedly gored.
