Home, simply that. Out of a vast country that often means little more than a couple dozen blocks in downtown Manhattan but it can feel, too, that the world is to be found within those blocks, diminishing the need to venture further. No matter how wonderful the journey there is a moment on the drive in from JFK airport where the expressway crests a hill and the entire skyline of Manhattan is laid out on the horizon that, for Sean, always makes him happy to be returning from wherever he has just been.
