My journey to Bolivia for Hermès is out

Not long ago, I spent a few weeks traveling Bolivia for Le Monde d’Hermès, part of it off-road in the southwest at 4-5000m and ending at the salt flats near Uyuni.  It was a breathtaking trip (in every sense of the word) and the article I wrote and photographed has just been published — you can see it here on my website or pick up a copy of the magazine, published in something like a dozen languages, at any Hermès store.

The picture above is of me looking pretty tired but amazed just after dawn on the bitterly cold salt flats; within an hour of this picture, once the sun had fully risen, I was getting a sunburn through SPF50 sunblock.  The photos below are a few of the ones I took on the journey.  I’ll be posting a full gallery of them soon.
